Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules for using BillSlash Nexus (the "Service"). It protects our users, their project data, and the integrity of the construction-fintech infrastructure we operate. By using the Service, you agree to this AUP.

2. Permitted use

You may use Nexus to:• Manage construction projects, schedules, budgets, and documents.• Orchestrate financial workflows including invoicing, lien waivers, and payment applications.• Connect legitimate business bank accounts, CRMs, and accounting systems via approved integrations.• Run AI agents and automations on data you own or have legal authority to process.• Collaborate with team members, subcontractors, and clients within a single workspace.

3. Prohibited activities

You may NOT use the Service to:Fraud or financial crime. Submit false invoices, manipulate payment applications, forge lien waivers, or attempt to divert funds illegally.Unauthorized access. Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities; attempt to bypass authentication; use another user's credentials; or exploit RLS bypass techniques.Malware or attacks. Distribute malware, launch DDoS attacks, or interfere with the Service's infrastructure or other users.Illegal content. Store, transmit, or share content that violates applicable law, including child sexual abuse material, sanctions-evasion data, or terrorist financing records.Data scraping. Use automated tools to extract data from the Service at a rate that impairs performance, except via published APIs with proper authorization.Spam or abuse. Send unsolicited messages, phish credentials, or harass other users through invites, comments, or notifications.Circumventing controls. Disable or interfere with audit logging, encryption, MFA, or rate-limiting mechanisms.Misusing integrations. Connect accounts you do not own or use Plaid, Stripe, Procore, or QuickBooks integrations for purposes outside their licensed terms.

4. AI and automation rules

Nexus AI agents must operate under human oversight. You are responsible for outputs generated on your behalf. Do not use AI features to generate false documentation, misleading pay applications, or fabricated compliance records.

5. Account security

You must maintain the confidentiality of your password and MFA credentials. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access. Do not share accounts or create fake identities to evade subscription limits.

6. Enforcement

We investigate suspected violations. Depending on severity, we may:• Issue a warning and require remediation.• Suspend the account or specific features (e.g., integrations, AI agents).• Terminate the account and delete data per our Retention Policy.• Report criminal activity to law enforcement or regulators.• Withhold payouts or freeze connected financial integrations if fraud is suspected.

7. Reporting violations

If you discover a violation, report it confidentially to security@billslash.app. Include relevant timestamps, user IDs, or evidence. We treat all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP as our platform evolves. Material changes will be announced via in-app notice and email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
