Terms of Service

1. Who you're contracting with
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and BillSlash ("BillSlash", "we", "us"), the provider of the BillSlash platform for construction billing, CRM, project, and AI agent automation. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you accept these Terms.
2. Account & eligibility
You must be of legal age, provide accurate information, and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you sign up on behalf of a company you confirm you have authority to bind it.
3. Licence to use the service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use BillSlash within the limits of your selected plan. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not (a) use BillSlash for unlawful activity, fraud, or spam; (b) infringe intellectual property; (c) probe, scan, or interfere with security; (d) upload malware; (e) scrape the service; or (f) abuse AI features (jailbreaking, generating illegal content, attempting to extract other users' data).
5. Your content
You retain ownership of data and content you upload. You grant BillSlash a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you. You are responsible for having the rights to any content you upload.
6. AI features
BillSlash includes generative AI tools. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and are not a substitute for licensed professional advice (legal, accounting, engineering). You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them, for your prompts, and for ensuring you have rights to any inputs you provide. We may filter, restrict, or refuse outputs that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
BillSlash, including its software, documentation, branding, and underlying models and prompts, is and remains our property. No rights are granted other than the licence in section 3.
8. Payments & subscriptions
Paid plans are billed by BillSlash through our payment processor, Stripe, in the currency shown at checkout. By starting a paid plan you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the cadence you selected (monthly or annual) until you cancel. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected at checkout. You can view invoices and manage your payment method from your account.

10. Service level & warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination your licence ends; you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the fees you paid for BillSlash in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify BillSlash against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at BillSlash's principal place of business. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
